CD-R 80 Min / 700 MB HP LightScribe (v1.2) 52x Speed 25-pack (Cakebox)
Tired of CD labels that eventually get sticky or peel off?
Want to burn your own silkscreen-quality labels directly on CDs?
Here's how:
Create labels with text, photos, and art on your PC
When you finish writing a CD, just turn it over
Use LightScribe technology to transfer them to these discs (the same drive burns the label!)
- Hewlett Packard Premium quality, protective coated
- gold Lightscribe label top, silver bottom
- 80min / 730mb (700mb data) capacity
- 52x compatible
- Multi speed
- 25 discs per pack in a strong protective 'Cake-Box' with securely interlocked base and shell
This technology is sure to change the way users burn discs. The underlying technology is simple yet ingenious. The top surface of these special discs is screen-printed at the factory with a thermal-sensitive coating (a leuco dye). When exposed to infrared radiation from the recorder's CD laser this material heats and forms a visible mark through an irreversible chemical reaction.
By pulsing the laser on and off at the appropriate time as the disc rotates, a pattern of these marks is produced. The entire label is then built by stepping the laser across the surface of the spinning disc thus forming the image in a series of tightly packed concentric rings (tracks).
LightScribe can't peel off, get stuck, or cause disc damage the way paper labels can.
Use text, photos, and even pre-set designs for beautiful results.
No pens, no ink, no printer, and no sticky labels.
